Fully threaded PEEK anchor for primary or medial row fixation in rotator cuff repair
Madtrauma offers you VIMFIX-PK® by Biotek, a PEEK suture anchor designed for rotator cuff repair, used for primary or medial row fixation.
The range includes suture, suture-and-tape and needle versions, in two diameters, and is completed by dedicated punches to prepare the hole.
Description
VIMFIX-PK® is a fully threaded suture anchor with dual threads, which optimize cortical and cancellous fixation, and a covered saddle tip that protects the sutures. Its cannulation supports bony ingrowth and healing.
Each VIMFIX-PK® anchor is individually machined from PEEK, providing precise dimensions and structural integrity. PEEK is recognized for its excellent biocompatibility and biostability.
It is clinically used for primary or medial row fixation, and offers exceptional fixation strength thanks to its fully threaded design with cancellous and cortical threads. It is available in 4.5 mm and 5.5 mm diameters, double- and triple-loaded, with a combination of BIOFIBER® suture and BIOFIBER® tape that increases contact pressure on the cuff.
