BUTTONFIX®-W One Fixation Button
Stabilization of the thumb and index metacarpals in carpometacarpal arthritis
Madtrauma offers you BUTTONFIX®-W with one button by Biotek, a suspension system for carpometacarpal arthritis and thumb carpometacarpal joint instability.
It is completed by the WT-Fix button for final fixation and a 1.5 mm suture passing wire.
Description
The BUTTONFIX®-W system features a uniquely designed, oblong-shaped titanium fixation button, preloaded with a BioFiber® USP 2 loop for enhanced stability and performance.
The system requires a small 1.5 mm hole to pass through the metacarpal, from the radial to the ulnar side, using the specially designed 1.5 mm tapered trocar tip and suture passing wire with loop.
It is specifically designed to provide stability and maintain optimal alignment of the thumb and index metacarpals after trapezial resection or removal.
