Prevention in surgical adhesion formation

MadTrauma offers you BetamixA physical barrier that helps prevent and reduce the incidence, extent and severity of post-surgical adhesions.

FULL DESCRIPTION

Betamix is an anti-adherent barrier gel used in surgery to prevent the formation of surgical adhesions. Its bioresorbable and biocompatible formula acts during the critical stages of healing without negative effects on wounds.

Betamix does not contain latex or phthalates and is sterilized with ethylene oxide, which guarantees its safety and efficacy. It comes in a pre-loaded syringe for application at the time of surgery, and its dosage will depend on the type of surgery, the type of surgical approach and the area or defect to be covered.

Betamix is supplied in sterile packaging and should be stored at room temperature between 5-24ºC without freezing. Shelf life is 3 years from the date of sterilization.

With Betamix, medical professionals can prevent and reduce the incidence, extent and severity of post-surgical adhesions in different areas of the body, such as tendon surgery, spine surgery, nerve surgery, abdominal surgery, gynecological surgery and ENT surgery.
