BIO-VIM®-LRP Knotless Ligament Anchor (Bioabsorbable)

BIO-VIM®-LRP combines a bioabsorbable, osteoconductive suture anchor with a PEEK tip, engineered for tendon, ligament and soft tissue attachment to bone via a suture in arthroscopic or open surgical procedures.

Composed of poly(L-lactide-co-D,L-lactide) with β-tricalcium phosphate, a blend of 70% RESOMER® LR 706 S and 30% β-TCP, these anchors degrade chemically and are typically absorbed through natural body processes.

The knotless technique involves passing the sutures or tapes through the tissue, loading them through the closed BIO-VIM®-LRP eyelet and then inserting it into a bone socket.
