Platelet Rich Plasma Centrifuge (PRP)

Platelet Rich Plasma Centrifuge (PRP)

MadTrauma provides you with a centrifugal machine for preparing platelet-rich plasma (PRP).

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a liquid compound of plasma and platelets from the same patient.

Platelets contain large doses of bioactive proteins known as growth factors, which promote the repair and regeneration of tissues in a natural way.

Procedure

PRP procedure

For the preparation of the PRP the process starts with the collection of 20 to 40 ml of blood.

The blood is centrifuged using special equipment to separate the components: red blood cells, leukocytes, platelet poor plasma (PPP) and platelet rich plasma (PRP).

Once the PRP is obtained, the specialist applies it to the wound, injury, breakage, etc.

Due to different patient responses, the number of applications may vary between 3 to 5 sessions.

Benefits

The PRP procedure speeds up recovery time by helping to reduce pain and improve the properties of the injured tissue.

  • It does not generate rejection or contagion of any kind.
  • It is easy to obtain without producing practically any inconvenience.
  • It is a cost effective treatment.
  • Fast results with long term benefits.
  • Reduction of health costs.
